1. Leveraging Collaborations

Anycia’s relationships contribute a lot to her success. Anycia’s first collaboration came after the success of her hit song “BRB,” which has over 3 million streams on Spotify alone, to date (Apr 2024). This collaboration was with her real-life best friend Karrahbooo, Lil Yachty’s former assistant turned rapper and Concrete Boys member - who also is in a similar stage of her career. With Karrahbooo and Anycia being at the same stage of their career and working together, they were able to cross-promote their music to two different audiences. Their song “SPLASH BROTHERS” came out in November 2023 and has over 1 million streams and 2 million music video views.

Following the release of “SPLASH BROTHERS,” Anycia worked with rising hip-hop producer and Surf Gang member evilgiane and Robb Bank$ on “BASIC.” While the record didn’t have as much commercial success as her collaboration with Karrahbooo, it went to help grow her buzz in the underground by working two prevalent figures in the underground in eviligane and Robb Bank$, who both have a cult-like following in the scene.

Her most recent major collaboration was with Latto in “BACK OUTSIDE,” which has over 2 million streams and nearly 3 million music videos. This collaboration is a major milestone with an artist the size of Latto, and we can only predict the artists she will go on to collaborate with will only get larger as time goes on.

At Dreamville Festival, fellow Atlanta rapper JID previewed a song with Anycia, getting people very excited on social media over the potential collaboration.

2. Major Co-Signs

The list of co-signs that Anycia has received over the last six months are endless. With Drake, J. Cole, Kevin Durant, and lots more. As time goes on, we can expect the list to grow longer with more A-listers giving Anycia her flowers.

3. Live Performances

Following her initial buzz, Anycia hit the road with Detroit rapper Veeze. This gave Anycia to opportunity to build her stage presence and gain new fans while on the road. Following that, she was also announced on several of the Rolling Loud lineups for 2024. She even had a viral moment in the underground scene where she entered her set on a mini-tricycle.

After Rolling Loud, Anycia had her debut sell out headlining show in New York City at SOB’s and brought out fellow buzzing rapper and producer Cash Cobain. Selling out her first-ever headlining show is no small feet and goes to show the following she has built in a short time frame.
